Mariam Svimonishvili holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law. Currently, she is a student of the master’s program of law at Tbilisi State University. As part of exchange programs, she studied at Masaryk University during her bachelor studies, and at Lille Catholic University on the master’s program of International and European Law.
Mariam worked at Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association specializing in human rights issues, where she held the positions of a legal analyst and director of the human rights protection program at different times.
She is the author/co-author of more than 10 researches and reports in the field of human rights.
Her research interests include social policy, environmental issues, and the rights of vulnerable groups.
